Restaurant at Sossusvlei Lodge
Sossusvlei Lodge is well known for sensational cuisine and many guests have praised our famous buffet dinner experience.
The al fresco terrace offers magnificent views over Elim Dune and of the floodlit waterhole where you can watch the passing parade of oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and ostrich, whilst enjoying exquisite food and wine.
Start your day with a scrumptious buffet breakfast with an extensive selection of all the favourite delectable breakfast foods and treats.
For lunch the chef will spoil you with the mouth-watering meal of the day accompanied by a variety of salads and side dishes. An a ‘la carte menu is available at the Sossusvlei Lodge Bar from 14h30 to 16h00.
The popular buffet dinner will leave you spoiled for choice between the salads, side dishes, grilled meats and stir-fries – all prepared fresh and in front of every guest! For the perfect ending there is a range of decadent dessert sensations as well as a variety of cheeses and biscuits.

Sossusvlei Lodge Acacia Beer Garden
Shaded by centuries old trees, the Acacia Beer Garden creates a relaxing atmosphere where one can sit back and enjoy an ice cold lager on tap or any other refreshments from the fully stocked Bar.
The Beer Garden features ample shaded seating.
In the evening one can enjoy the views towards the floodlit waterhole next to a cozy fire pit that forms part of the Beer Garden.
Curio Shop at Sossusvlei Lodge
Stock up with memorabilia to take home at the huge Curio Shop adjacent to the pool area.
The shop stocks a wide variety of novelties, postcards, maps, books, sunglasses, crafts, exotic handbags, unique leather items and clothing – to name just a few!

Sossusvlei Lodge Swimming Pool
A refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool at Sossusvlei Lodge will go a long way after a hot day of sightseeing in the Sossusvlei area.
This unique pool is inspired by the constellation of the Southern Cross and features underwater seating areas where one can enjoy the breath-taking views over the Desert landscapes.
Guests can laze on the sunbeds provided underneath cabanas dotted around the pool and relax with a good book or enjoy a few beverages from the bar.
Pool towels are available at reception. There are quite a few books available to read from the bookshelf in the lounge area.
The pool is only available to paying guests and is used at one’s own risk. Children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
