Eagle Tented Lodge

At Eagle Tented Lodge you stay closer to nature in authentic safari tents without compromising on any of the comfort or luxury of a hotel room. This unique lodge, hosting 16 comfortable tents in the hills, offers you an unforgettable stay close to nature and an amazing view over the Epacha Game Reserve. When the day comes to a close, there’s no finer spot to witness the sunset than on the terrace of your tent.

Activities include morning, afternoon and night drives on the Epacha Game Reserve, a full day drive to the world renowned Etosha National Park, clay pigeon shooting, a visit to a local Himba village and a spa.

  • Epacha Game Drives

With more than 13.000 ha this reserve is one of the biggest Private Wildlife Reserves in Namibia. To explore the Epacha. Enjoy a morning, afternoon or night drive and discover the many different species on the reserve, including some rare species like the Blackfaced Impala and the Bat-eared fox. Guests are guided by professional Bush Rangers. Together with your ranger as guide you also enjoy a stunning sunset in the middle of the Reserve.

  • Night Drives

A daytime safari is unlike any Night Game Drive! When you are on a game drive at night as you see the animal species which you do not see in the day time. The rangers work together with a tracker who sits on the front of the vehicle to spot the rare sights like Bat-Eared Fox, Aardwolf, Vulture, Hyena, Black Rhino.

  • Etosha Game Drive

This is a full day drive that departs from Epacha Game Lodge at 07h00 and returns to Epacha mid to late afternoon depending on the guests. The drive includes soft drinks, water and a light picnic lunch.

Experience the thrill of game viewing in one of the largest national parks in the world. Guests can see more than 340 different species of birds. As well as various game species such as elephant, lion, black rhino, leopard, giraffe, eland, kudu, oryx, springbok and many more.

  • Spa

The Epacha Game Lodge and Spa was the first in Namibia to combine the African safari experience with wellness when it first opened its doors in 2001. Many other lodges have since followed suit.

The Spa at Epacha boasts a complete range of facilities, including a sauna, steam room, and two treatment rooms. The most popular attraction at the spa is the open-air duo-treatment room, where it is possible to enjoy one of the many treatments together with your partner.

  • Clay Pigeon Shooting

If you’ve observed the wildlife and relished the Spa at Epacha Game Lodge, you may find it intriguing to explore something entirely distinct yet equally thrilling. Clay Pigeon Shooting is the art of shooting at special flying targets (Clay Pigeons) with a shotgun or firearm. We transfer you by vehicle to where the activity takes place and we provide the clay pigeons and rifle. A guide will be present to show and guide you.

THE LODGE

This luxury Lodge is built from natural rock and thatched roofs. The main area consists of the restaurant, bar and pool area. Eagle Tented Lodge provides breath-taking views over the surrounding mountains and valleys. Nothing beats getting closer to wildlife than a stay in a tent in Africa- Hemingway Safari Tents. Offering spacious luxurious tented accommodation while overlooking the Epacha Private Game Reserve. Every tent is equipped with an en-suite bathroom and coffee- and tea facilities. The deck allows guests to experience breath-taking dawns and sunsets.

FAMILY SAFARI TENTS

Our family tents also overlook the Epacha Private Game Reserve, offering incredible views of nature. The tents provide a spacious lounge area. While being equipped with a shower and separate toilet, a minifridge, as well as coffee and tea facilities. The tents have shade nets covering them and are equipped with cooling fans. There’s no better way to round off the day, than relaxing on the terrace while taking in the beautiful sounds and sights at aha Eagle Tented Lodge.

MYSTIQUE SPA

The Epacha Game Lodge and Spa was the first in Namibia to combine the African safari experience with wellness. After opening its doors in 2001 many other lodges have since followed suit. This pioneer Spa boasts a complete range of facilities, including a sauna, steam room, and two treatment rooms. The most popular attraction at the spa is the open-air duo-treatment room. Which can be experienced with ones partner. While Eagle Tented Lodge does not provide spa treatments, it encourages guests to utilize all the spa treatments available at The Epacha Game Lodge.
