Our Deluxe tents have a large outside deck. They with a comfortable bathtub perfect for relaxation under the stars. You have an amazing view overlooking the Epacha Wildlife Sanctuary. The tents have a spacious lounge and en-suite bathroom. Each bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. You also can enjoy our mini-fridge and coffee & tea facilities. The tents are covered with shade nets and have a fan to cool. When the sun is sets, there is no better place to watch the sunset than on your terrace at your tent. The activities are the reason why you want to stay at our Reserve. On our reserve supervised by a ranger it is possible to leave the 4×4 on foot and get closer to the plants and animals. Unlike the National Park we offer Night Drives.
Our guides take you into the Epacha Wildlife Sanctuary with a open vehicle! See some of the 21 types of antelope or one of the Black Rhinos. The Epacha Wildlife Sanctuary is a 21.000 hectares reserve. It has a variety of wildlife, bird life and flora! A tour takes about 2 to 3 hours. They are available as a morning or afternoon-sundown drive.
Epacha Private Wildlife Reserve is one of the largest Private Reserves in Namibia. You can join a morning, afternoon or night drive to explore the Reserve. You can see the many species on the reserve. You will be guided by Rangers who will help you track down the rare species! Together with your guide it is also possible to leave the 4×4 vehicle and follow track on foot.
Go on our night drives and experience the night. Try and spot our animals with a special spotlight. You might see some night creatures like the bush babies, black rhino, scorpions and vultures! Our night drive can be booked after dinner.
Go out for a half or full day in Namibia’s biggest animal reserve. the Etosha National Park is known for its lions and elephants! Our driver takes you in an open vehicle to the Etosha National Park. On the drive drinks are supplied. Lunch is served at a waterhole inside Etosha Park.
Go out to a special spot away from our Game Reserve and find out how good you are with a shotgun! We supply the clays, the ammunition and the gun. All you have to bring is a fast reflexes and a good eye! Clay Pigeon shooting is available any time of the day. It can be booked at the reception.
Combine your stay at Epacha with a visit to one of the Villages in the area. The Himba people are probably the most traditional tribe you can find. The Himba people live in the North-Western area of Namibia. The village is an hour’s drive. It will give you a impression of how the tribe survives.
After all our other activities, you may need to relax at our Spa. There are a variety of treatments on offer.

The Epacha Game Lodge was the first in Namibia to combine the safari experience with wellness. It first opened its doors in 2001. The Spa has a Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room and 5 treatment rooms. The most popular is the open air duo-treatment room, where you can enjoy many treatments with your partner.
Eagle Tented Lodge also offers a wellness centre. It is less equipped then the one at Epacha Lodge, but still offers some great treatments. There is nothing like a massage with feel of a breeze and the sound of birds.
We organize daily Safaris to Etosha National Park.
You travel with our Game Drive Vehicles and one of our rangers. Spend a full or half day in the Etosha national Park.
When you visit to Etosha Park you have a chance to spot some of the greatest animals you’ll find in Africa.
The reserve has large lion prides, elephants herds, zebra and springbok. You can spot leopards, cheetahs and rhino inside the Park!
Etosha means ‘place of dry water’. It is centred around a huge pan of about 5,000 square kms. It is found in north Namibia.
The ‘Pan’ gives a silver backdrop of mirages to an area of grassland and thorn scrub. The pan has water only after heavy rains. Sometimes it only has water for a few days of the year. A blue-green algae grows which attract flamingos. Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s major wildlife sanctuaries. It was proclaimed a game reserve in 1907. It covers an area of more than 22 750 sq km’s.
It has a cluster of man-made water-points around the pan. During the dry months the water points attract the big game herds. This make a great sight for visitors looking to see the nearly 150 species. This includes several rare animals such as the black rhino, blackfaced impala, tsessebe and gemsbok.
“We went there during low season (mid december) and there were no guests apart from us. The place is really beautiful., we had the luxury tent and it was perfect. The only issue were the insects in the Dining room because of the light, but the staff offered to serve us in our room. We did not do the local Safari since we did the ones in Etosha. It is 1 hour away from Etosha. The best is to stay in the etosha park, but if you want a beautiful place 1 hour away from Anderson gate, that’s your best choice!” –D2345OJnathalieb
“Wonderful accommodation in luxury tents, for the adventurous there is a bath situated on the veranda of each chalet. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and always willing to help were ever you need. The room is wonderful with views over the mountains and valley. Go up to the eating area and have a nice relaxing sundowner and watch the animals come in to drink at the water hole that is situated right next to the infinity swimming pool. There you will be treated to the animals like giraffe, kudu, Gemsbok, (OYRX) porcupines and if lucky a honey badger. What a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation and is only a stones throw away from Etosha National Park” –russellcloete28
“George and Abraham looked after us like we were vip’s. The service was unbeatable. I had the best room, the only one in front of all the others, so after a full body massage and lunch, spent my afternoon in the outdoor bath overlooking the bush and the animals. The baths are private, everyone used them. This place was soooo relaxing. Yes, you can go on game drives (but we’d had enough of that) so it was the perfect place to unwind after having ‘land rover legs’. The food IS average, but honestly, the friendliness and the service of staff and the surrounds and the setting made up for it. Amazing buildings, very cleverly built. You have the humungous Epacha resort next door, but this place is small, only 11 or 12 rooms/tents. Rooms were awesome! I hate creepy crawlies, but I had none in my tent.
